v1.0.137

Sharper Issue summaries and titles

Issue summaries and titles are now generated from the symptoms that define the associated diagnosis, the facts of what is actually wrong, rather than from the surrounding logs and events. Before, generated text could drift toward incidental activity that happened nearby instead of the real problem. Grounding on symptoms produces titles and summaries that describe the actual fault, so what you read matches what is wrong and agents get a cleaner starting point.

Expanded coverage

Causely now observes and reasons over more of your stack. This release adds support for Conduktor, MongoDB Atlas. Before, these systems sat outside the causal model, leaving gaps where dependencies and failures went unseen. Bringing them in means diagnoses and blast radius account for more of what your services actually depend on.

Fewer steps to connect an agent

Connecting an agent to Causely is now a shorter path. The connect flow includes a direct link into VS Code. Before, connecting an agent or acting on a suggestion meant several manual hops. These links cut that friction so a first agent connection lands faster. In addition, the docs have been updated on adding skills to VS Code and Codex clients.

Minor Improvements

  • MCP enabled by default BYOC: The Causely MCP server is now on by default in BYOC deployments, so self-hosted environments can connect an agent without a separate enable step.
  • IAM authentication for RDS Postgres: Added IAM authentication for RDS Postgres in BYOC deployments.
  • Database discovery and reliability: Fixed Azure Postgres discovery and hardened MySQL connection and SSL handling for more reliable coverage of managed databases.
  • Beyla service performance metrics: Causely now collects service performance metrics from Beyla, enabling more complete understanding of request throughput.
  • Operator-managed Beyla updates: The operator can now update Beyla automatically, so instrumentation stays current without manual intervention.
  • Network endpoint discovery: Causely now discovers network endpoints from HTTPRoute hostnames, improving topology accuracy for gateway-routed traffic.
  • MCP tool feedback: You can now submit feedback on MCP tool responses, giving Causely a signal to improve answer quality over time.
  • AWS Disks: Improved monitoring of AWS Disks ensuring more accurate diagnosis where there are symptoms affecting disk usage.
  • Issue timeline readability: Cleaned up the Issue timeline, including removing redundant recurring-event grouping, so the sequence of what happened is easier to follow.
